Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Double One Digital website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Services
Double One Digital provides web development, mobile app development, e-commerce solutions, and digital product development services. Specific project terms, deliverables, timelines, and pricing are agreed upon in separate project proposals or contracts.
Project Agreements
For all project work:
- A detailed project proposal or contract will be provided before work begins
- A deposit is required to commence work (typically 50%)
- Project scope, timeline, and deliverables will be clearly defined
- Changes to scope may affect timeline and pricing
- Final payment is due upon project completion and before handover
Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, clients receive ownership of the custom code and designs created specifically for their project. We retain the right to:
- Use generic code libraries and frameworks
- Showcase the project in our portfolio (unless otherwise agreed)
- Retain ownership of proprietary tools and systems
Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete project requirements
- Provide feedback and approvals within agreed timeframes
- Ensure they have rights to any content they provide
- Make payments according to the agreed schedule
Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- 50% deposit required before project commencement
- Remaining 50% due upon project completion
- Invoices are payable within 7 days of receipt
- Late payments may incur interest at the prevailing rate
Limitation of Liability
Double One Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service.
Warranty and Support
We provide a 30-day warranty period after project launch to address any bugs or issues with the delivered work. Extended support and maintenance can be arranged through a separate agreement.
Termination
Either party may terminate a project agreement with written notice. In case of termination, the client shall pay for all work completed up to the termination date. Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
